The Fundamentals Course is the gateway for all courses we provide.
Our courses require our students to not only know the basics but be able to implement them in practice.
We ensure our students master the basics by running the Fundamentals as part of the courses.
As the levels increase, as do their requirements; the level of study, online sessions and even face to face sessions may increase.
This course will include topics such as:
Learning Theory
Operant Conditioning
Classical Conditioning
Conditioned Reinforcement
Motivation & Drives
Course Overview
The course is a combination of online, face-to-face and practical training sessions.
All our courses are designed to provide flexibility,
allowing you to train around your lifestyle and work commitments.
Online delivery is conducted via our online learning platform and Zoom lessons.
Face-to-face and practical delivery is conducted at one of our training facilities.
There are regular practical training sessions conducted throughout the week,
as well as some conducted on weekends and evenings.
All students are provided with relevant study material; however some text books will have to be purchased by you.
The list of required text books will be provided to you upon enrolment.
Assessments are a combination of ‘open book’ theory assessments, assignment presentations to display underpinning
knowledge and practical observation check sheets to display competency.
Course Duration
To find the duration for each course level, please click the link under that title below.
Although there is a minimum study requirement to complete the nominal hours, very few individual sessions are compulsory.
Students are welcome to attend all training sessions relating to their selected modules depending on their availability.
We do recommend you attend as often as your schedule allows as learning gained
from one module often transfers to other modules of the course.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
RPL/RCC is available and assessed prior to enrolment;
You must provide relevant certificates or courses and seminars you have attended,
along with a detailed current CV as evidence to be eligible for RPL/RCC.
